Panoptico

2002
Interactive Video Installation
Using the analogy between the circularity of the Tower of the Winds and the Panopticon design of Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832), a control space was created for autonomous digital "entities"; from the development of a software, whose interface puts the observer-user at the center of the space in a situation of control (similar to the vigilante of an 18th century panopticon), where he can add, remove or change the performance profile of each element and leave traces of their movements.
